Has anyone run across a muster roll or roster of men who belonged to Captain Barnett's Company of Home Guards? This company was formed near the end of the war from employees of the Tallassee Manufacturing Co. (Textile Mill) as well as government employees operating the C.S. Arsenal at Tallassee. There does not seem to be anything on them in the National Archives and Records Administration microfilm publication or the Alabama Dept of Archives and History. I know such a unit existed however as a number of men later filed pensions claiming service in this company. Anybody know if or where I can find a list?
