Whew!!!! Didn't realize you were working actually IN D.C....!!!!!

Agree with everything you posted; I personally flashed on all of the stories I heard from my parents re where they were and what they thought when they heard about Pearl Harbor. My father (Native Texan) was part of the retribution for Pearl: he was on the Hornet when Doolittle launched his Tokyo Raid in 1942.

I hope the American people are ready to make the same sacrifices our parents and their generation made during the 1940s, because like it or not, we are most definitely at WAR......!!!!!!!!

The insidious nature (terrorist "cells" within our borders!!!) of our foe may result in some extreme measures like suspension of civil liberties for certain ethnic and political groups (ala the Japanese-Americans and the infamous internment camps). Too bad, but.......
