the weekend of sept 15 and 16th the city of helena alabama(shelby county)had a reinactment that had a few of us here at the office wondering was there every really a battle of helena. i have searched the web and found no information on it there was a skirmish at tannihill with the blast furnaces and one in briarwood with the furnaces thier but i cannot find any info on any of these places can somebody please help my email is anthony.s.plaia@ssa.gov please put subject helena if responding to my email
