Yes, I had one ancestor in the 12th, Company G to be exact. His name was Isacc Perkins from Jackson County Alabama. He was a Private August 15, 1861 and a POW Sept 17, 1864. I believe his Company's nickname was either Woodville Sharpshooters, or Paint Rock Sharpshooters. Was married to Sarah Ann Justice on Feb 10, 1856 in Marshall County, Al. He died Nov 5, 1893 in Van Buren County, Arkansas.
