Lee,I found an online site where I ordered the pension papers for my GGgrandfather who sereved in the Civil War,I recevied a lot of useful information from my request,log on to State of Alabama,go to Department of Archives and History,just follow the links,you can print out the form and mail it to the address provided along with a $5.00 check,my return was way above what I expected,it had a copy of his pension application also.
