All who are within traveling distance of Birmingham are invited to attend the upcoming meetings of the Alabama Civil War Roundtable.

The Roundtable meets on the second Thursday of January through May and September through November, with the notable exception of a special December meeting this year featuring Gregg Biggs, known to many of you through this board.

November 8th: Henry Simpson, Esq., Board Member of the Civil War Preservation Trust will address the topic of battlefield preservation.

December 13th: Mr. Greg Biggs will present a talk entitled "Nathan Bedford Forrest - Napoleonic Cavalryman."

Meetings are held at the Picadilly Cafeteria on Hwy 31 South (located in the Wal-Mart shopping center below the Galleria and just north of the Cahaba River bridge. Come and eat at 6:30 or so (go through the line and come to the room in back). The meeting will start at 7:00 and end between 8:00 to 8:30.

We would love to have anyone who is interested. Membership in the Roundtable is $15.00 per year.
