There's only one card in the file for this man, and that the roll for June 1864 which shows his enlistment. I believe this is the last roll on file anyway. Here are a few notes on the regiment's history after he joined.

The regiment went to northeast Mississippi in September 1864, joining Nathan B. Forrest's command as part of Col. Edmund Rucker's Brigade. Within a few weeks it accompanied him on his famous Johnsonville Raid, returning in time to lead Hood's army into Tennessee during late November 1864. The 7th Alabama attempted to defend the left flank of the army during the Battle of Nashville TN (Dec. 15-16, 1864), but was overrun on Granny White Pike. Col. Rucker lost his arm in the fighting late on the second day.

After the regiment returned to Mississippi, it was sent to refit and reorganize at Montevallo AL. Here it was consolidated with survivors of Russell's 4th Alabama Cavalry and placed under command of Gen. Abram Buford. All Alabama cavalry in the area was to report to him, but these were the only two regiments that actually did so.

A Federal expedition from Pensacola FL threatened the rail line between Mobile and Montgomery, so Buford's cavalry went to Greenville AL. Meanwhile Wilson's Cavalry moved south from the Tennessee Valley and captured Selma AL. Buford collected survivors of Clanton's shattered cavalry command and attempted to oppose Wilson when his column crossed the Alabama River and moved towards Montgomery. Buford's men fought the Federals all the way to Columbus GA, then turning about to ride across the state and join Forrest at Gainesville AL. They surrendered with his command there in May 1865.

If you happened to know where this man lived in 1907, we may be able to locate him on the veteran's census of that year. Otherwise, perhaps there's a pension application under his name.
