I've added the burial information for Nicholas C. Sorsby to my Autauga at War Roll of Honor pages. He was a member of the Wetumpka Light Gurads. I don't find him in the Autauga County Census. He may have resided in Coosa County.

John McCarthy - 6th Alabama Infantry Regiment, Company K, enlisted on 4/30/1862 at Bridgeport, Ala., and was sent to a hospital in Richmond on December 12, 1862.

Thomas C. Crim - 44th Alabama Infantry Regiment, Company D, enlisted on 3/19/1862 at Shelby Springs, Ala. Absent, sick from Manassas, Virginia 08/30/1862 to Fredericksburg, Virginia 12/13/1862.Record roll near Richmond, Virginia 12/31/1864. Death listed at Scottsville, Va., January 1863. His nearest P.O. was given as Lime Kilns, Alabama in Shelby County.

James Dowling - 8th Alabama Infantry Regiemnt Company I, enlisted on 5/20/1861 at Mobile, Ala., age 28. Absent on furlough New Market Bridge 12/22/1861; present Siege of Yorktown; absent sick Williamsburg, VA 05/05/1862. Historical Record roll Petersburg, VA 01/01/1865. Occupation listed as a mechanic. Born in Ireland. Rsidence Mobile, Ala.

John L. Cook - I don't find this name in the 12th Alabama, but do for the 10th Alabama Infantry Regiment, Company F, enlisted on 3/8/1862 at Cropswell, Ala., age 22. Absent sick: Siege of Yorktown, 04/00/1862. Historical record roll, data 2, 01/01/1865. Died of disease at Farmsville, Va., on 04/01/1862.
