I too had a relations in the 11th Alabama Cavalry. A father and son: John F. Doan and James H. Doan respectively.
I am only able to find the father (John) on the muster rolls though James' gravestone clearly states "Captain 11th Alabama Cavalry, CSA".
I would appreciate being copied in on the data you send out regarding the operations of this unit AND any data that would help me place James H. Doan in this unit along with his father. Thank you so much for your help.
