The soldier I am writing a bio for is Burrell Pace (1818-1865)living in DeKalb County Alabama. Died January 28, 1865 Camp Douglas, Illinois.

On the widow's pension application it is listed as Captain Wiley Newman's Volunteer Home Guard Cavalry
