John D. Williams

I am seeking information pertaining to my great-great grandfather, John D. Williams, Private, Company K, 11th Alabama Calvary. He was killed in the Battle of Moulton, March 1864 (mentioned in the book "Bloody Banners and the Barefoot Boys").

He was a native of Lauderdate County, AL., and his wife (Annie) received a Confederate pension.

Although the 11th was comprised of Col. Jeffrey E. Forest's Calvary Regiment, Warren's and Mooreland's Calvary, I have not been able to trace him past the 11th Alabama Calvary.
