Everyone is invited to attend a special December meeting of the Alabama Civil War Roundtable which will be held on Thursday, December 13th at the Picadilly Cafeteria on Hwy. 31 South, just below the Riverchase Galleria in Hoover, Alabama.

Our speaker will be Greg Biggs, who is no stranger to this forum. While the ACWRT usually takes December off, Greg was planning a trip South and was available, so we thought it best to take advantage of a chance to hear from him.

Greg's talk is titled "Nathan Bedford Forrest - Napoleonic Cavalryman."

Those of you who frequent this fine site,live in the greater Birmingham area and have not yet given the Roundtable a try have a chance both to meet a friend of this forum and see what the Roundtable has to offer.

You can get dinner and head for the meeting area at the rear of the dining room. We usually gather from about 6:00 to 6:30. The meeting formally opens about 7:00 and we should be through no later than 8:30.
