Am seeking information on the above unit, organized in
Calhoun County, 6/4/1861, specifically Milton Cook Stapp,
who enlisted on that date and served until the end of the
war. Surrendered at Appomattox. Was wounded in the
thigh during battle (which one ?). Moved to Texas and
received pension until his death in 1917 at age 103.
He was my husband's gggrandfather. Any info on him or on
