Here's an on-line account by Capt. George W. Clark of Co. "B", 11th Alabama:

Other accounts by members of this brigade are available if you're interested. Also, a composite roll of Co. "F", 11th Alabama exists as the ADAH in Montgomery. It lists the names of all members through the end of 1864 and includes notes showing each as present or absent in every battle or skirmish. The roll includes other information as well. Matching this information to that available in the NARA microfilm provides a good record of service for each officer and man.

I've done this with Companies "A" and "G", and hope to complete the others when time allows.

The blue state flag beside the Confederate banner indicates that these men represent Wise's Virginia Brigade. Other articles in Confederate Veteran magazine describe the debate over which of Mahone's brigades, Sanders' or Wise's deserved credit for winning the battle.
