Looking to found which Alabama regiment my great grandfather
John O. Smith was in. In his obit it said he served in the Confederate Army in a Alabama regiment.
He was born in Dec 1841 in Al and died Oct 1911 in OK.
He was married December 1868 in Itawamba, Mississippi to
Selena Johnson.
Any help will greatly appreciated in finding which regiment
he was in.
