The record doesn't say that Caleb was at Blakely AL -- it states that the roll of prisoners was made there. Major Frank Moore's report in the Official Records states that 170 passengers were aboard the train captured at Gravel Hill, some being citizens and others exchanged prisoners. All were released, according to the report. That would explain why there is no further record on this man. No doubt he went home from Gravel Hill.
