Patricia, I noticed your message this evening and was happy to hear of another relative through William Walker. According to my records, I am descended from william, then his daughter, Polly, who married James Waldrum, then their daughter Julia, who married1) my gggrandfather, Orrin Daffin (upon his death, married 2)Charles Hearne Bradley.) Orrin and Julia had my ggrandmother, Sarah Daffin, who married Vincent Joiner; from their union came my grandfather Orrin Joiner (married Norah Thames) and to this union came my father William Cornelius Joiner. Are you descended from this early line or are we speaking of two different Wm Walkers? I have always been told that Walker Springs is named for him and the ferry/tavern he kept there. If you have any information about William and of course, the Indian connection, I would be so thrilled to know more. Please contact me. Elaine Zehner
