What type of condition were these priosners in? Were they sick, healthy, dying........what? The record does state that Caleb Garner was captured by Brig. General T.J. Lucas, commanding Calvary Forces operating from Pensacola, Fl. Roll dated Ft. Blakely, AL. April 8, 1865. The Muster Roll also states that Caleb Garner was Captured at Gravel Hill on March 26, 1865. If he was captured again at Gravel Hill, they must have taken him to Ft. Blakely if the muster Roll is correct.
