Re: Gravel Hill, March 24, 1865

No information on this cemetery other than the burial site of Levi Garner. SCV 1610 in Monroeville has an active project to survey cemeteries. Our concentration includes Butler County but, to date, we have not surveyed this particular cemetery, primarily because no descendant has furnished to us a definate location. I rode through there yesterday but nothing is obvious. In my directions, I should add that should you come from I-65 at Greenville, look for CR # 7. The road connects Butler Springs with Forest Home OR proceed to Crocker's BP station and ask directions. Crocker's is obvious and difficult to miss. It is on the north side of Ala. 10.
