After I posted I realized that i had already asked you about it before! Sorry for the repeat! My fathers nursery is located on highway 80 3 miles from I 85 in shorter Alabama. In the history that came with the land there is said to be a spring called polecat springs. Also there was a Indian affairs office. Now I am trying to figure out if it is saying it was on his property or is loosely referring to an area. My father took me to see the spring yesterday as I am getting started with metal detecting. I love history especially if it hits that close to home! Any knowledge you might have I would love to hear!
