Upon further checking, Burwell died at 'Camp Forney' not Camp 'Toomey' as reported. It was transcribed wrong. I looked at the CSA cards for Burwell and it definately was Camp Forney.
AND according to the letters between Grant & Melinda Taylor 1862-1865, ....on Oct 8, 1862 the 40th Ala moved to Camp Forney on the Spring Hill railroad four miles from Mobile between Government and Dauphine Streets...that corresponds with your notes.
So, possible he could be buried in the Confederate Cemetery in Mobile.
