GGGrandpa in 5th Ala. INF Co C

I'm trying to find any information on Pvt. Patrick Morrison of Co. D, then New Co C of the 5th Alabama Infantry. He was an Irish immigrant who volunteered with the "Monroe Guards" in 1861, with an initial enlistment of 12 months. I don't know anything after that, other than the fact that he survived the war. I recently discovered his grave marker in Tunnel Springs. He lived until 1904. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
