Janelle, the cemetery was called, The Old Confederate Cemetery. It was located just South of the town. The soldiers were removed around Dec 7 1867. By that time most of the names on the headboards were not readable, however a few were and they are online at the Evergreen Cemetery site. Around 2000 were moved to Confederate Circle in Evergreen Cemetery and buried as unknowns. My ancestor Pvt Clisby Young Cobb was one of those. I know this is not much help, but its about all I have. At one time there was a complete list in a Nashville newspaper article of all those that were buried in the old cemetery, but so far no luck finding it. Bob
