Capt A G Gunn

On the 1907 census of Confederate veterans, Thomas Kent states that he enlisted in Capt Gunn's Company, General Hill's Regiment. This must be a late war command raised by Brig Gen Benjamin J Hill of Tennessee which served as scouts with the army of Tennessee during Hood's last campaign. Kent states that he enrolled at Talladega, and Hill's men did fight nearby at Munford as the war ended.

There is a parole for a Capt. A G Gunn, Co A, 64th Alabama Regt, May 19, 1865, Montgomery, Ala. Does anyone recognize this officer?
