Re: Huntsville, AL - April 11, 1862

When the Federal forces occupied the city on April 11 a locomotive loaded with wounded and soldiers on leave made a run for it. Pursueing calvary killed the fireman and the article I read said the prisioners were marched back to the depot. Seems odd as other prisioners were kept aboard the box cars they arrived in.
