Question, I found a grave stone today, and it stated that the person was a member of the 1st Ala. Vid. Cav; except this was all run together, 1st Ala.Vid.Cav. Alabama Cavalry I know, but what is the Vid Part? I even took a photo, and did an etching to be sure I had it right.
