Hello everyone!

I wrote my master's thesis on the 48th Alabama and expanded it to a 300 page book.
I even published a series of letters written by a soldier in Company K, 48th AL. (from Calhoun County, AL)

I have lots of photos of the soldiers including Major Wiggonton in the book.

Wiggonton took command of the regiment after Oates was wounded at Fussel's Mill in '64.

Wiggonton was very influential (politcially) in Cleburne County, AL.

My ancestors were in Company C of the 48th from Marshall County, AL.

please contact me if you want to get a copy of the book.

Thanks,
JPrice
