Thomas Wilborn Knight enlisted December 1861 at Mobile. He was born 11/23/1830 near Stone Mountain, Campbell County, GA. He was discharged in May 1865 at Meridian, MS. A man by this name lived in Winston County during the 1907 Ala. Confederate Census.
Thomas Knight, Pvt, enlisted 2/16/1864 at Mobile. He reported to the regimental medical unit 3/20/64 with a diagnosis of "sub luxatio". Admitted on 8/26/64 "febris intermitten tert". In September he complained of acute diarrhea. Wounded Franklin, TN 11/30/64 right arm and right leg. Captured 12/17/64 at Franklin and imprisoned at Camp Chase, OH.
