Trying to find additional information on my GGgrandfather 1st Lt. Merrywhether L. Conner, who served with the 41st Alabama Company "A" and died April 18, 1864. What records I've found in the archives do not show how or where he died. I've found references to him in the 41st roster as a 2nd Lt. I do not know what involvement he had with the unit. I would also like to know how to find out where he is buried.
