Steve. Thank you for your effort and information. The thing I dont understand is the purchase of 201 acres on 11 november, 1896 by Tapley k Hendrick(note no "S" on end of name). This transaction is recorded in the Bureau of Land Management official records for the Greenville, Alabama field office on above date. My question for you ,as well as anyone else on the board, is how can this be since Tapley's CSA service recore notates "died in hospital" 11 January, 1862. I contiunue to seek help to resolve this apparent contradiction.
