Re: question about a court martial
In Response To: question about a court martial ()

Lynda: In reviewing Jack A. Bunch's " Roster of the Courts-Martial in the Confederate States Armies" I found on page 353:

2 entries for Thomas W. Vardaman, Co. K. 10th Alabama Inf. Pvt.

1. Dec. 16, 1863 "Conduct to Prejudice Good Order"
2. Dec. 21, 1863 " " " " " "

Must have been (2) charges.

On the first charges he received "company punishment" and on the second charges he was aquitted.

Hope this is of some help. Tim Burgess
