I suspect this T. G. Pou, captain in the 33rd Alabama, is the same as Thomas G. Pou, who later served as Quartermaster Sergeant in the 24th Alabama Cavalry Battalion. Also referred to as T. Gavin Pou. The 24th Batt'n was formerly organized as a battalion on Dec, 16, 1863, and was always with the 53rd Alabama Cavalry.
