wow, so i was googling to find a couple of paragraphs to put in the scv newsletter and this has been very informative. i grew up in rocky mount and have been to andrew jackson mckinney's grave.most of us whittingtons that decended from mckinneys still live in the benton/bossier area. like i said i grew up about a football field's distance from the cemetary in which he is buried. my son's name is nolan and when we decided to name him that my papaw told me about his uncle nolan so that was neat to see on here aswell. anywho thanks for the information and god bless.
