I have started working on finding some information on my family history. I believe that I have been traced back as being the ggg granddaughter of 1st Lt. Miles Izates Taylor of Co.H, 26th Alabama Regiment. He had a son named Charley Taylor that lived in Alabama. Charley was born around 1870 in South Carolina or Alabama. He is my gg grandfather. Charley married Deborah 'DebbyAnn' Brown in Alabama. They had my great grandfather Dexter B. Taylor.

I only lived with my biological family for 8 years. So I only have bits and pieces to go on through my search. If someone has any information on this line of family, your help would be greatly appreciated. I have 2 sons that I would like to pass some family history on to.
