I have this information on a 2nd greatuncle that served in the 16th. James Mark. Hardin, Co. E, 16th Alabama Infantry. His service record
shows that he died 18 April 1862, Canton, Mississippi. Wounded at Shiloh I assume he lived in northeast Georgia when he enlisted.
