Re: The Bulger Boys
In Response To: The Bulger Boys ()

Hello,
I don't know if this helps. I went to school with some Bulgers in Prattville, Al whom I knew pretty well. One time while at their house I saw a Civil War "Foot Officers' Sword" or perhaps a "Staff Officers' Sword" in their home. Mrs. Bulger told me an ancestor of theirs had toted it during the War for Southern Independence. Bulger is not all that common of a name so it stands to reason y'all are related and perhaps the Bulger who toted that sword might be the one you are looking for, or closely related. I have not seen them in years. I think Phillip Bulger, one of the boys, lives in Atlanta , Ga now. I am not sure of the others or if they even live there still. I hope this helps.
Sincerely,
David Edelen
