The burial list I reference is from the Register of Confederate Soldiers And Sailors Who Died In Federal Prisons And Military Hospitals In The North. Compiled In The Office Of The Commissioner For Marking Graves Of Confederate Dead. War Department 1912.

It is very possible that markers or records were lost or became illegible by 1912. There are about 15 complete Unknown burials listed with no name or unit information, only 4 which have burial dates. J.M. Faulkinberry may be among the other 11 Unknown.
