According to "Alabama Steamboats 1819-1869", a 1953 booklet compiled by J.H. Scruggs Jr., there was both a "Lily" and a "Lilly." Both were side-wheel steamers and operated on "one of Alabama's major rivers."
Lily: 159 tons, built; Brownsville, Pa., operated; 1860-1861 (no record of demise)
