Daniel's widow,Phereby Jeffcoat Jackson Thompson married my 3rd.Grandfather in 1874,Texas.She was 28,he was 64 and my gosh they had 5 more children.Phebe and Daniel also had a daughter Harriet that married a Great Uncle.

To my knowledge,none of the surviving decendents of Daniel H Jackson know details of his fate.We shall just have to remedy that.
