Re: Thomas Howle/Howell 1st Al inf Co. A

Thanks again. As per another person's research: The parents of the Thomas Howle (born about 1811) I am looking for are Thomas T Howle and Nancy (Rivers). Siblings include half brother James W Howle (from Thomas T's first wife) died at 19, Jane Pamela Howle (mother of Robert Thomas Mickleberry Simmons -40th Ala Inf & that wrote the letter), Amanda, Sarah, George M, and John Mickleberry Howle,

He was supposedly born about 1827/8.

His second wife listed on the webpage is MaryAnne Elizabeth "Malissa" Moore provided his sources are correct.

the letter is not one of those I have but is one RTM Simmons's grandson has or has had access too at some point in time since he has them transcribed on his website http://psysim.tripod.com/rtmsimcsa2.html It is the letter listed as number 12 or just use the "find" feature under [edit] and put in "Uncle Thomas" and it comes right up.
