Thanks for that additional info. Helps greatly. I know now not to look for a marker at Nashville City Cemetery. I'll have to look more into the Confederate monument and possibly having a marker placed someday. Very interesting stuff!
Question, in that source that you referenced, is he indeed listed as Osborn Jesse Bounds, or some other variation such as Osmond Bound as another record that was referenced here referred to him as? Just curious. Both have been referrenced here, and of couse, I understand names were mis-spelled or mis pronounced in different records sometimes. Osborn Jesse Bounds was his actual name, at least to my knowledge from family sources, such as bibles, and early Alabama census etc. Nothing much has ever been known or handed down by the family over the generations about this younger brother.
