From the Civil War Soldier and Sailor System, I have found that my Greatx4 Grandad had served in this Militia. He was from Autauga County. Could the 4th Alabama Vol. Militia be formed at Autuaga County? If not where was it formed? I understand they were sent to the Mobile area.
