Yes, I thought they were the same person also but the two Jesse Wheelers are buried about 10 miles from each other. Both have stones that say Company D. 26 Alabama Infantry CSA. The Jesse Jones Wheeler who is buried in Lone Oak Cemetery is buried next to his wife Susan Bruce Wheeler. My g-g-grandfather who is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery about 10 miles from the other Jesse is buried next to his wife Eleanor Campbell Wheeler and also his son John W. Wheeler. Now.....if you can follow this, My Jesse is buried just a few plots over from two of Jesse Jones Wheeler's brothers......Peter Carr Wheeler and Benjamin P. Wheeler and also a David T. Wheeler which I believe may have also been Jesse Jones Wheeler's brother.
