I am in need of some info as how to get a Confederate soilders record. I know this is an Alabama board, but thought you could possibly help me. Robert Atwell lived on the Tn, Ala state line. He lived at Wolf Creek in Lawrence Co Tn. He is buried there with a headstone. It looks like a confederate stone. It has flags sketched in the rock. I have searched for a pension, and have not found one. He was born July 11 1844 Died April, 10 1918. The date on the stone has 1839 for his birthday. The 1844 is off the census.
