Does anyone know which artillery battery or batteries were with Forrest during the pursuit of Abel Streight in spring of 1863?
And does anyone know exactly when Rice's Tennessee battery was attached to Forrest and what was going on with Forrest's command at this time chronologically.

There was once a contributer who lives in Oregon who had an address from which he posted the field notes from the Confederate Artillery Batteries participating at Decatur in October of 1864. Tarrants battery was included in this. Does anyone remember this gentelman's name or have a contact for him.
