One of the thousands of records compiled under direction of Col. Fowler during the war shows a list of the actions in which Mathew Waldrop took part. He was a resident of Wesobulga in Coosa County AL. The record for Co. "D", 13th Alabama Regt., was compiled on Dec. 31, 1864.

It would appear that Waldrop remained at home until the end of the war.
