Does the marriage record include a location and date? Looking at the 1860 Montgomery, AL census for A.J. Brazzel & his wife Martha E., they probably got married about 1854, their first child in the census being born about 1855. Based on location and age, this is surely the A.J. Brassell Montgomery County Militia that I posted earlier.
