Hi, my great, great, great granduncle Hiram McDaniel of the 39th Regiment, Alabama Infantry was captured Dec. 15, 1864 in Nashville, TN and was sent to Camp Douglas, Illinois, where he died. He was buried in the City of Chicagon Cemetery. Is this the same place mentioned in other replies? This is very good information on the burial site then and today. Thanks
