I am trying to determine for someone, if Joseph had military service. He was born 1838 in CT, 1850 was living in CT, nothing in 1860 or 1870. In 1880 was in Algiers, LA and died 1886 in Birmingham. In 1874 married Sarah Todzwer in Algiers, LA. His brother Franklin served with a TX unit from Liberty County and is listed in the 1870 census in Liberty Co.
