Authors at Chickamauga/Dalton CW Show

Five authors will be at this weekends CW Show at Dalton, Georgia and they will be making brief presentations on Saturday. The show will be this Saturday & Sunday [Feb. 5-6] at the NW Georgia Trade and Convention Center. The author's and their schedules are as follows:
Saturday, February 5
John J. Fox III - 11 am - presentation "The Confederate Last Stand at Fort Gregg" which included Georgia troops. Fox wrote the award-winning "Red Clay to Richmond: Trail of the 35th Georgia" and most recently "The Confederate Alamo: Bloodbath at Petersburg's Fort Gregg on April 2, 1865."

Chris L. Ferguson - 12 noon - presentation "Researching Your Confederate Ancestor." Ferguson is the author of "Southerners at Rest: Confederate Dead at Hollywood Cemetery"; "Hollywood Cemetery, Her Forgotten Soldiers: Confederate Field Officers at Rest"; and "Gettysburg Death Roster: The Confederate Dead at Gettysburg."

James W. Parrish - 1 pm - presentation "History of the 50th Georgia." Parrish is the author of "Wiregrass to Appomattox: The Untold Story of the 50th Georgia."

Johnnie Pearson - 2:30 pm - presentation "Lieutenant Irby Scott and the 12th Georgia." Pearson edited the newly released "Lee and Jackson’s Bloody Twelfth: The Letters of Irby Goodwin Scott, First Lieutenant, Company G, Putnam Light Infantry, 12th Georgia Volunteer Infantry."

Fred L. Ray - 3 pm - presentation "Confederate Sharpshooters." Ray is the author of "Shock Troops of the Confederacy: The Sharpshooter Battalions of the Army of Northern Virginia." He has also written several books on flood and swiftwater rescue.
